Isabelle Hudon becomes the new executive vice-president of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal


Montreal, September 22, 2004 – Mr. Benoit Labonté, president and chief executive officer of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to announce the appointment of Isabelle Hudon to the position of executive vice-president.

Known for her leadership, strategic sense and management skills, Isabelle Hudon will henceforth be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating and monitoring all the operations of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal.

Ms. Hudon has been with the Board of Trade almost three years. Her first position was communications director, and until recently, vice-president, Strategies and communications. Before joining the organization, she headed the communications department of the Montreal Transition Committee in 2001. Ms. Hudon has also worked for major private and public Canadian organizations

The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal has some 7,000 members. Its primary mission is to represent the interests of the business community of the Greater Montreal and to provide individuals, merchants, and businesses of all sizes with a variety of specialized services to help them achieve their full potential in terms of innovation, productivity and competitiveness. The Board of Trade is Quebec's leading private economic development organization.
