The Board of Trade applauds the appointment of Dominique Anglade as head of Montréal International

Montréal, September 16, 2013 ‒ The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal is pleased to highlight the appointment of Dominique Anglade as President and CEO of Montréal International.

 

“Since opening its doors in 1996, Montréal International has been contributing to the economic prosperity of Greater Montréal and its reputation around the world,” said Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. “Like all major cities, Montréal and its surrounding area have to be able to count on a high-profile organization to attract foreign investment. Thanks to Montréal International, our city boasts the head offices of a number of international organizations, chief among them the ICAO and IATA.”

 

“Ms. Anglade’s appointment as head of Montréal International is great news,” Mr. Leblanc said. “Her experience in managing operations and corporate and public affairs, acquired in part with McKinsey & Company, will be an invaluable asset for the Montréal International team. Ms. Anglade can count on the Board of Trade’s complete collaboration in promoting the metropolitan area’s economic competitiveness.”

 

“We would also like to salute the outgoing President and CEO, Jacques St-Laurent, who, since 2010, has provided exemplary leadership on many projects, making Montréal a preferred destination for investors, international organizations and strategic talent,” said the Board of Trade President and CEO.

Its mission is to represent the interests of the business community of Greater Montréal and to provide individuals, merchants, and local businesses of all sizes with a variety of specialized services to help them achieve their full potential in terms of innovation, productivity, and competitiveness.
