Unprecedented mobilization to prepare the succession in Montréal

More than 1,350 students saw their efforts rewarded on September 6 during an event organized for them at the Tohu by Montréal Relève and its founders. The Soirée des Mérites was intended to mark the success of career exploration internships by these young people as part of the 16th edition of the Classes Affaires program.

Over 375 Montréal organizations, including more than 100 new partners, took part in the movement this year to prepare the succession by hosting high school students for a week of work experience.

The evening was also an opportunity to appreciate the success of the program and how far it has come in 16 years. At its launch in 2001, 15 young people took part in the Student Business program. This year, with 25 partner high schools, the program was offered to over a third of young Montrealers in grades 9 and 10 !
