Our beloved city turns 375 today. This day is just one in an incredible year of festivities to celebrate the 375th anniversary of Montréal, Canada’s first major city, founded in 1642.
Fireworks, special projects, artistic activities... Major events will light up Montréal all summer long!
I am particularly proud of the business community, which has been mobilizing to build our city throughout its history and create prosperity for Montrealers.
Let’s take this day to appreciate Montréal and celebrate our good fortune at living in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
