China, a high-potential market, less than 15 hours away by plane

From February 16 to 22, 2017, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal’s Acclr team of international trade experts is flying off to China, taking advantage of Air Canada’s new direct air link between Montréal and Shanghai.

China is one of the most powerful economies in the world, and it is experiencing a transition based on knowledge and innovation. This market of 1.3 billion consumers has to be at the heart of development strategies among Montréal businesses. The trade mission targets two Chinese cities that offer strong potential. Their rapid urban development is creating major business opportunities for Montréal businesses in construction-related sectors.

Hear Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Chamber, speak about this market, on the very day of the inaugural flight, live from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.
